Beautiful Light Playtest Access
Quick answer: Beautiful Light is not generally released. To look for access now, use the Steam page first, then the Discord community server linked by Steam and Deep Worlds. Do not trust reposted beta dates until they match one of those places.
| Need | What to do |
|---|---|
| Steam playtest | Open the Beautiful Light Steam page and use Request Access if the module is shown. |
| Discord updates | Join the public Discord community route and watch announcement channels. |
| Open tests | The developer FAQ says multiple open playtest phases are planned before Early Access. |
| Supporter access | The FAQ says the supporter edition is planned to include access to the playtest environment. |
Can you play Beautiful Light now?
Only if you have been accepted into a current test or if an open phase is active. The public store state is still pre-release, so the normal player action is wishlist, request Steam access when offered, and follow announcement channels.
Step-by-step access check
- Search Steam for Beautiful Light or open App ID 1313230.
- Check whether the page shows a playtest request control.
- Use the Discord community server route for timing updates and developer posts.
- Compare any YouTube, Reddit, or forum claim against Steam and Deep Worlds before acting on it.
Playtest FAQ
Is Beautiful Light playtest currently open?
Beautiful Light is still pre-release, so access is limited to accepted testers or any active open phase. Check Steam first for the current store state, then compare Discord announcements before treating access as open.
How does Steam playtest access work?
Use the Beautiful Light Steam page and look for Steam request access controls when they are available. A request does not guarantee entry, and invitations or timing should be confirmed through Steam or official Deep Worlds community channels.
Is there a confirmed beta date?
No confirmed beta date is published in this page's checked source set. Treat No confirmed beta date as the safe answer until Steam, Deep Worlds, or an official announcement gives a dated window.
Will playtest progress reset?
A playtest progress reset has not been confirmed in the checked source set. Because Beautiful Light is pre-release, assume test progress, access rules, and saves can change until the developer publishes final terms.
Is the test streamer-only?
Nothing reviewed here says playtests are streamer-only. Public requests and Discord announcements are the safer routes to monitor.
Is the playtest free?
Steam playtest requests are separate from buying the game. The developer FAQ also mentions supporter-edition playtest environment access, so always read the current wording before paying for anything.
When is the next playtest?
No exact next test date is pinned in this page's checked source set. Watch Steam news and Discord announcements for the next dated window.
